What is Spinal Rejuvenation and Decompression Therapy?
Spinal Rejuvenation Therapy (SRT) uses computer-aided technology to apply gentle non-surgical decompression to your spine, opening spinal discs and joints, helping provide long term relief from the pain and symptoms associated with herniated, bulging or ruptured discs, facet syndrome, degenerative joint disease, scoliosis, spinal stenosis, pinched nerves and other spinal afflictions. SRT also assists in healing the discs and joints. The therapy is totally safe and comfortable for all subjects. There are no known side effects of Spinal Decompression.
Are the treatment results permanent?
Decompression therapy has an impressive 86% success rate in treating herniated and degenerative discs with a 4% re-occurrence rate after one year. Combined with the entire Pettibon Spinal Regenerative System protocol, results can be even higher. Typically additional treatments are not required after the completion of the treatment protocol. However, as with any treatment there are always severe cases that involve particular job/lifestyle activities that may require re-evaluations.
Who is not a candidate for this therapy?
Anyone who has had recent spinal bone fractures or recent spinal surgery (within the last 6 months.) Also pregnant females are not candidates, anyone with spinal bone infections or anyone retaining spinal surgery hardware such as screws, rods or cages. Those who have previously had surgery on their back longer than six months ago and do not retain any hardware ARE candidates for this system and most have fantastic results.
